Megan Murphy, MD

Description

Megan Murphy, M.D., is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist specializing in advanced inflammatory bowel disease. She treats patients who have Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and microscopic colitis, as well as those seeking routine colon cancer screening. Dr. Murphy obtained her medical degree at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, and she completed her residency training and chief residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She obtained fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, followed by fellowship training in advanced inflammatory bowel disease at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine.  Dr. Murphy’s research interests include inflammatory bowel disease therapies and medical education.
