Le Pain Quotidien on Capitol Hill is a Belgian bakery and restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue SE, in one of Washington DC's most storied and community-minded neighbourhoods. It's the kind of place where staffers grab breakfast before heading to the Hill, where locals linger over weekend brunch and where a properly made coffee is always worth stopping for. Organic sourdough baked fresh every morning, croissants, tartines, eggs, seasonal salads, soups and a full range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. All made with natural ingredients, and organic wherever possible. Open from 6:30am weekdays, 7am weekends - dine in or take away.
